Evaluate Solution
Our original idea for the cardboard arcade involved making gears for the machine, but we decided to go a simpler route. As we worked on the project we found that we had to change how the wheels would work as well, and we made it so they spin instead of being in a fixed position. Our original idea didn't have walls covering up the front of the machine, but we thought it would look nicer with them and it prevents people from reaching inside the machine. The final addition the our project that we added late were the arrows pointing to what tile each wheel had been spun to.
Present Solution
For our cardboard arcade machine we decided to create a slot machine out of the cardboard and tape we could use. Our idea of a slot machine was chose because it was given the most total points between the categories of the decision matrix above. After we wrote down a general idea of what we needed to make and what it was going to look like Kevin and I went to work on the pieces of the machine. After creating everything we assembled the sot machine and by then we didn't have enough time to do anything else. Next time we do a project like this I need to make sure to get the build process done a lot quicker. When I was working with Kevin we were able to get things done smoothly and we didn't have any arguments about what to do, but my one problem was that we did not get done as fast as I was expecting to.
